Selling a unique custom rifle unaccompanied by dies or bullets, then offering to sell the buyer these items later. 'WHAT IS THE CORRECT ETIQUETTE?"
To start, I am not selling or buying anything!
I am very interested in the perceived etiquette for this activity.
Scenario,
You own a unique (maybe less than a handfull in existance, say one or two) rifle. The chambering is such a unique caliber it requires custom dies (which take 6 months to 2 years to have made these days), and reloaded ammo. You have the custom dies, and have already formed brass for the firearm.
My question is, etiquette wise.
A. Is it more acceptable to sell the...

Any of you stop a charge with a handgun?
I've seen many videos online of hunters in Africa using rifles to stop charges from dangerous game but, what about using handguns being used to stop charges from dangerous game (Lion, Cape Buffalo, Elephant, Hyena) ? Have any of you seen or been part of having to use a handgun to stop a charge?
Is the Smith & Wesson 460 and 500 x-frames allowed in Africa as it's a Double-Action, or are only Single Action revolvers allowed?
For handgun ammo, is it best to use mono-metal brass and copper...

Recommendations for Group Plains game hunt
Hey Guys,
I’m very familiar with many places and outfitters in numerous Countries. However, I’m trying g to think of some options I might not be putting front of mind.
Here’s what I’m thinking about and criteria
1) I’m thinking about organizing a trip for some “first timers” to Africa and for Plains Game. At least Four Hunters (and likely wives too)
2) Considerations:
A) cost is a consideration for a couple of reasons. First, the guys I would bring aren’t exactly swimming in disposable...

SOUTH AFRICA: The First Foray w/ Matwetwe Safaris
It Begins
This will be a journal of my first trip to Africa, and reflects on my experiences hunting with Matwetwe Safaris in the Limpopo Region of RSA. For those of you who prefer a shorter read I'm going to provide a set of cliff notes, but as is my preference, I'll provide a more detailed report.
Summary:
A summary of what happens when a transplant Australian decides to hunt Africa, buys an auction hunt (had met the outfitter), second guesses himself and eventually decides to...

Namibia Safari - Plains Game
I'm looking for advice on what bullet to load in my 338 for plains game. Planning on Kudu, Nyala, Gemsbuck, Zebra, Impala, Wildebeast and Warthog. I have TTX, Partitions and Accubonds available in 225 grains. What would you choose assuming it shoots well?
